THE AXIS OF RPG DESIGN A short essay by Prespos
Visualize the alignment graph, and then take out the words. In the corners, place:
REALISM/SIMULATION across from GAME (playability) EASY across from DIFFICULT (balance)
In the center, place FUN.

Ps. My 'strength' is definitely Playability, which does not necessarily equate to Balance.
*UA* (Unlimited Adventures) is a great influence on what I do, and a great teaching for RPG design and (A)D&D players. I think that it is from *UA* that I have learned the concept of Playability.
In short, KEEP IT SIMPLE.
